Tagging

Tags organize Documents and Jots and improve findability in Explorer. Tags are searchable in Explorer queries.

Types

  • Org-wide tags — Admins create and maintain these in Configuration / Admin Panel. Everyone sees them in pickers. Use a shared taxonomy (for example “Account Plan”, “Close Plan”, “At Risk”).
  • Personal tags — Any user may create private tags visible only to themselves; they do not appear in other users’ pickers.

Appearance

Each tag has a color to distinguish chips in the UI.

Apply and remove

Use the tag control in the Utility panel or the tag area on the Document / Jot. Search existing tags or create new ones. Multiple tags are allowed.

Remove — Click × on a chip. Removing from a Document does not delete the tag definition.
