Document sidebar

The left sidebar lists Documents in context. What you see depends on where you opened the editor.

From a parent Salesforce record (Account, Opportunity, etc.)

The sidebar lists Documents linked to that record — what your team attached or created from this page.

From a Folio Document record (detail page)

The sidebar shows related Documents that share at least one linked record with the Document you’re viewing — a network-style view: for example, other Documents tied to the same Opportunity or Account so you see surrounding context without leaving.

Interactions

  • Open — Click a row to open the Document in the editor. The active Document is highlighted.
  • Collapse — Toggle to give the editor more horizontal room.
  • Star — Starred Documents rise to the top. Starring is per user; order is remembered.
  • Reorder — Drag and drop to set your preferred order (saved per user and per record context).
  • Actions (context menu or right-click) — Rename, Clone (copy content, same links), Delete (hard delete or archive per admin settings).

New Document

New Document starts a blank Document or opens a template picker when templates exist for the object.
